March 2026 Living OUTSTANDING Highlights & Reflections |
Welcome to the March edition of Living OUTSTANDING! March has felt like a month of contrasts—wintry days hanging on a little longer than we’d like, while signs of spring and fresh energy begin to peek through. It’s been a season of staying cozy, getting organized, celebrating meaningful accomplishments, and gaining new perspective through experiences that have been both inspiring and eye-opening. In this issue, I’ll share a new local Obsession that has quickly become a favorite destination, along with Updates on a practical tool I’m using to help buyers think more clearly about what matters most in their home search. A cozy Treasure has made chilly days a little more bearable, while a thrilling Sounds & Stage experience was one of this month’s entertainment highlights. On the Tech front, I’ve been focused on creating more order and security behind the scenes, and I’m looking ahead with Anticipation to a fun Chamber event that promises some friendly competition and connection. This month also included meaningful Networking with inspiring women leaders, along with powerful Discoveries through Leadership Akron that expanded my perspective in unexpected ways. Inspiration came close to home as I watched hard work, confidence, and teamwork lead to an incredible accomplishment, while my Notable reading life this month was more about variety than standout favorites, with several audiobooks keeping me company along the way. And as always, I’ll close with Gratitude—for the clients and referral partners who continue to trust me, support me, and make this work so meaningful. As we head toward longer days and a new season, I hope this edition encourages you to appreciate the comforts, lessons, and moments of celebration that make life feel truly outstanding. I’d love to hear—what made your March outstanding? <Note: You may need to click "view entire message" at the bottom to read the whole thing... Outstanding is a long word:)> |

OBSESSED:What I'm enthralled by |
My obsession with the B&B Theater in Macedonia continues. Ever since going there to see Wicked in November and discovering their wraparound screen experience (Screen X), I’ve been hooked. Since then, I’ve gone back a couple more times and discovered even more fun theater concepts. I’ve now seen a movie on the Grand Screen, which is their jumbo-sized premium screen, and another in the Max Relax theater, where the oversized loungers fully recline. Both had heated seats, which I love. We also sampled some of the food, and I was pleasantly surprised—the burger with fries and the margherita pizza were both decent and reasonably priced. I recently learned they even have a Screen Play theater with an actual playground inside, which sounds amazing for families with little kids. Safe to say, this has officially become my new go-to movie theater! |

Baseball Schedules & Buyer Priorities |
Baseball Schedules & Buyer Priorities |
This month I mailed out my magnetic Cleveland Guardians baseball schedules—a yearly favorite! If you wanted one and didn’t get one, send me your address and I’ll see if I still have extras. I’ve also been working on updating my buyer consultation with a new slide about priorities, based on a triangle concept that really resonated with me. When searching for a home, buyers are often trying to balance price, location, and condition/physical attributes—but the reality is, you can usually control only two of the three. That idea can be so helpful when making decisions in a competitive or limited market. If a buyer wants the ideal location and a move-in-ready home, the price may need to flex. If price and location are non-negotiable, the home may need a little more compromise in condition or features. It’s such a simple concept, but I think it brings a lot of clarity to the process. |

As the weather continues to stay chilly on and off, I’ve been very grateful for my Comfrt sweatsuit. It is thick, soft, has tons of pockets, and is ridiculously cozy—basically like wearing a blanket. On cold days at home, running errands, or just wanting to be comfortable, it has become one of my favorite things to throw on. |

This month I saw Water for Elephants at the Cleveland Playhouse, and I really enjoyed it. The show had a Cirque du Soleil-style element woven in, which made it especially entertaining and visually impressive. Between the acrobatics, the life-sized animals, the music, and the storyline, it was such a unique and memorable performance. |

I’ve been working on tightening up my passwords and getting them organized using Bitwarden. It has been a bigger project than I expected, but I’m already feeling better knowing things are becoming more secure and organized. It’s one of those tasks that isn’t especially glamorous, but it feels really good to make progress on something that adds peace of mind. The more I work through it, the more confident I feel about my online security. |

Copley Chamber Virtual Golf Outing |
I’m looking forward to the Copley Chamber virtual golf outing at X-Golf in Montrose tomorrow. It should be a fun night with a nice mix of networking and friendly competition. You can choose whether you want to play in the scramble or stick with putt-putt, so it’s approachable no matter your golf skill level. It’s not too late to sign up if you want to join in the fun! |

I really enjoyed attending the Collaborative Chamber Alliance (CCA) International Women’s Day event this month. It was energizing and inspiring to hear from women leaders and be in a room filled with so much wisdom, strength, and encouragement. Events like that are such a good reminder of the power of shared experiences and learning from one another. |

DISCOVERIES:What I'm learning or discovering |
This month’s theme of my Leadership Akron program was "justice", and it was one of the most eye-opening topics so far. We visited South Street Ministries (re-entry and rehabilitiation), Children Services, CASA (Child Advocates), the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center, and the Akron Police Training Academy. I also had the opportunity to participate in a police ride-along, which was a really cool experience. It gave me a new appreciation for the complexity and challenge of the work being done every day by people in our local police and judicial systems. More than anything, it reminded me that behind every statistic or headline are real people with real stories. The experience gave me fresh perspective and a deeper understanding of how layered these systems really are. |

Hoban Mock Trial State Championship |
My daughter’s Mock Trial team at Hoban won the State Championship this month, and it was incredibly inspiring to watch. Seeing her and her teammates confidently take the stand, think on their feet, and try the case with such professionalism was truly impressive. They worked so hard to get there, and it showed. Watching young people rise to that level through preparation, teamwork, and determination was one of the most meaningful highlights of my month. |

This was an unusual month. I listened to five different audiobooks, but none of them were too remarkable. If I had to pick a favorite, I would go with One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune, which was a typical summer romance novel. |

I’m especially grateful for my clients and referral partners this month. Their trust, support, and confidence in me mean so much. This week I’m hosting a car wash and detailing event as a small way to show my appreciation. I never take those relationships for granted, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve such wonderful people. |
